Description Teaching the children I work with about pulleys/simple machines! They had a ball!!!! You can do this with your child/children...have children find natural materials from outside, like dirt, sticks, wood chips to fill a bucket until it is super heavy! Tie a rope or thick yarn to the bucket/secure tightly. Put rope/yarn over sturdy tree branch or playground metal swing and the fun is never ending! Children will learn how a pulley operates and get to experience hands on! Future engineers!
