  • About Me Hey! My name is Jess; I'm finishing my last couple of semesters soon and will be graduating with my associates degree in Human Services. Currently doing my internship. I started a project called the Voices of Adoption Project about 5 years ago - working on a documentary & book - and now I'm working on turning it into a center. I am an adult transracial adoptee (yes the adoption community used the term transracial before it was made into a joke), my birth father is black & my birth mother is italian & I was raised in an all white family. That is all I really know about them, as I grow & learn about myself, my cultures & more I hope to continue to make & create change in the world.

    I am an artist. Draw, paint, sketch, write, music, ceramics, photography...I'm here for it. I'm a book lover, reading is the best! Not religious but I do study Patanjali's yoga. Vegetarian & eat clean. I live with mental health issues & work hard every single day to keep my balance. I love to lift daily & practice intermittent fasting - so to any healthy folks out there - I'm always interested in swapping tips!
