CATCH22: This site cost $30 a year per family but in my opinion it is worth it. Your child can take his or her spelling and vocabulary test online via your personal page that is created for you. Keep track of their scores via your personal page. You can create your own spelling word list and save it to your page. It will say, spell and teach your child each word.It also has games and other relevance.
My 13 year old is on college level and this site has ACT and SAT spelling words that helps to challenge his mind. I highly recommend this site. I have been using it for a few months now and have no regrets.
