Noticed some oil spots under my car for the past few weeks and finally got under it to see what's happening. Looks like it's coming from around the timing chain cover area but honestly I'm no expert. I took it to one place in Industrial Area and the guy said "just add stop leak oil" which feels like a temporary bandaid, not a real fix. I'd rather pay once to actually solve the problem than keep worrying about it. Been asking around and heard that Reliable Car Repair Sharjah has a decent reputation for actual diagnostics, not just quick fixes. Has anyone taken a Nissan there for an engine oil leak? I want a shop that will clean the area, find the exact source, and tell me honestly if it's a gasket, seal, or something worse. I don't mind spending a bit more if they do the job properly the first time. Also any idea what a timing cover gasket replacement should cost on a 2.5 Altima so I know if I'm being quoted fairly? Really appreciate any experiences, good or bad. Trying to avoid the trial and error approach with unknown garages. Thanks.
