I have written a science fiction novel that weaves the history and struggle of ancient African ancestors into a futuristic conflict. The book contains real world overtones of a conscious nature, both current and ancient narratives are covered. That is my attempt to help the next generation defend themselves from being bombarded by the negative european influence and steroetypes all day every day. I have attempted to do this by writing a novel that runs counter to the popular black stereotypes that dominate current media and entertainment.
If you understand the problem many have with the latest round of Kemetian centered movies that do not feature melanated people then this book and movie are geared towards you as an audience. If you have found yourself complaining that there are few, if any, strong melanated heroes then this story should appeal to you. If you have ever admitted to yourself that a certain criminal or demeaning narrative is usually being advanced when melanated actors are concerned then this is your chance. Tired of seeing gay black males in dresses, sacrificing themselves for caucasians at the conclusion of movies or peddling drugs and getting high glorified to our youth? Maybe youre just tired of not having a strong black rolemodel to uplift and show to your children? Being a part of this rise in afrocentric penmanship will help you personally do something about the fact that there is a serious lack of credible heroes, stories and hope for young melanated audiences. The same individuals who are, otherwise, hopelessly being inured and conditioned with the prevailant negative themes being directed at them in the mainstream form of media and entertainment. In order to do better we must be better. We must start by giving hope and combating the conditioning through ourstory and media, designed to provide positive influence.
