What has been dumped in the water? Off the Gulf of Aden, something is happening, millions of dead fish, and something else far too terrible to mention! Foreign ships, what is their role in this? Canisters floating ashore that carried harmful toxic waste. Depleting fish stocks are just one of the catalysts that have triggered a wave of piracy, but this is for now the least of a people's worries. The toxic waste has fused with marine life creating something terrible, hideous, ugly, a bloodthirsty behemoth that looks like nothing of this world. The Entity is relentless, has a taste for human flesh and kills indiscriminately
A ship is hijacked and there is a 6-month standoff. The hostage situation rapidly develops into an international scandal, The USA tries to negotiate with the hijackers, and are about to send in troops, but before they are finished assessing, strategising and dealing with the situation a horrendous thing called the entity is now fully grown, surfacing the water and laying waste to locals. Accusations fly left, right and centre, China wants to protect their interests in the provinces, North Korea believes the Entity is a weapon being tested to use against them, Russia plays cautious, but who really cares for the locals being made mince meat off. All the powers have various interests. America pledges to send help to kill this thing, China says they will too. The whole place may go up in smoke and no one really cares about the people caught up in the madness?
Thrust into the center of the conflict is Koal, one of those rare people born into abilities that test the limits of what it means to be human. He and his troupe are not otherworldly demigods from comic books and fantasy fiction films; their exceptional powers are still bound by the laws of physics. That these men are exceptional is clear. Forced into retirement from hero work by corrupt governments who distrust the impassive moral codes of this faction. A disillusioned people with exceptional abilities once used for public good have settled into ordinary lives scattered across the earth. There is a call for these men and women to return, Cast against insurmountable odds, and sometimes ridicule, these men, and women must fight for a forgotten, marginalised people to liberate and free themselves from the plight that has befallen them. They must kill the alien called the entity lurking in their waters.
Koal is a fictional tale that is based on some real events and disasters that are occurring worldwide. Serious topics are covered and dealt with in this epic animated tale about a new breed of superheroes, called the Komosantesumans.
