  • About Me Kijani House, located in Detroit, MI, is a Social Enterprise and Family Business established as an LLC on July 31, 2017. Kijani means “green” in Swahili and our mission is to be an integral part of the urban agricultural cycle by recycling organic waste and offering high-quality vermiculture products.

    Detroit is becoming/has become an urban agricultural site. The vacant lots, the infusion of Marihuana Laws and the hustle inside every Detroiter has created a landscape that is an open field of opportunities. Yard Clippings, Food Waste, and Marihuana waste do not have to enter our landfills.
