  • About Me As a 34 year old Black, single female with no children, I find that now is a better time than any to to really pursue my best life, for the sake of myself, my future family and my Black communities. I have worked in the areas of Radio/TV broadcasting, Social Services, and Economic Development, all with the hopes of leaving a legacy and helping to lead the way to a better, more fulfilling and lucrative life for all those I come in contact with; I am just searching for the best ways to do that using the gifts and talents God gave me. The most important thing to me right now is becoming who God created me to be with no apologies and with unsurpassed freedom in every area of my life. I've learned that I can't accomplish all that I'd like by myself and that relying on the White man's platforms, rules, and ways are counterproductive when it comes to deeply connecting with my people and taking ownership of what's rightfully mine; This includes my ability to create, live, make money, speak my native language, socialize and even dress in a manner that is more conducive to growing, supporting and loving my culture and taking my rightful position in this world. I desire to be a part of a community where others look and think like me for the betterment of those generations to come after us. Based on my family research, my people were Israelites who settled in Egypt/North Sudan, migrated to Cameroon (Bamileke People), great-great grandfather took his son, my great-grandfather, to live in France for five years, after the transatlantic slave trade, and then moved to the U.S. Louisiana to be exact, and here I am. I would like to reconnect more with my roots and meet people who can help me along my journey and understanding.
