Class of 2019 point guard Boogie Ellis has set his official visit to Chapel Hill to meet with the North Carolina Tar Heels
It was just last week that University of North Carolina head coach Roy Williams added a new point guard prospect to his recruiting board.
Williams offered https://www.northcarolinatarheelszone.com/brandon-robinson-jersey-c-9.html class of 2019 four star point guard Boogie Ellis on Sept. 2, showing significant interest in the guard from the West Coast. The Tar Heels watched Ellis play during the July open evaluation periods and were impressed with his skillset.
Following the announcement of Tre Mann verbally committing to Florida, Williams is now seeking out another point guard in the form of Ellis.
On Monday, Williams and the Tar Heels received a bit of good news.
Inside Carolina’s Sherrell McMillan https://www.northcarolinatarheelszone.com/kanler-coker-jersey-c-8.html reported Monday morning that UNC has secured an official visit from Ellis. The point guard will take one of his five visits to UNC in October, sources confirmed to McMillan.
Ellis will be on campus for the weekend of October 12 14th, the same time as UNC will host its annual Late Night With Roy Event to kick off the season. In year’s past, several big recruits have attended Late Night With Roy and it could help in the Tar Heels’ pursuit of Ellis.

Ellis is just the latest recruit to announce an official visit to UNC. Keion Brooks , Vernon Carey Jr. , Wendell Moore , and Jeremiah Robinson Earl will all visit between now and the end of November.
Williams has been consistent in his efforts to land another guard in the 2019 class, primarily at point guard with the recent injury problems of Jeremiah Francis. The head coach now has a few targets left on his board to Brice Johnson Jersey add to the class which already features five star center Armando Bacot.
