Something as small as teaching your children Independence Day (in reference to Jamaica). I have in-laws from there that didn't find it necessary to pass that info to their offspring. i had to educate them. But slavery was another time and another people far removed from the youth who come in contact with a movie or book depicting it. They're not equipped mentally to make the connection> Today's' educational system teaches them WHAT to think, instead of HOW to think! But good post.  less
