It is unfair that women can't do what men do and still retain their self-respect, dignity, and pride and not be judged, ridiculed, or ostracized by both men and women. I don't agree with this inequality, but Betty Wright's song describes an observable fact of gender inequality in American society. I like this song, because it describes society as it is.
