I am an Empowerment Specialist who likes to introduce myself as "I am who I am and I'm becoming who I came here to be."

Although my background includes bookkeeping, accounting, purchasing and planning my passion has shifted from numbers to Human Services.

Since 2014, convinced that a powerful solution to trauma recovery is to retrain our brain, I have received certifications to provide peer support, mental health first aid, emotional CPR, health navigation, domestic violence advocacy, and to facilitate support groups including specialty groups focusing on mental health stigma reduction, another on implementing healthier coping skills to deal with trauma instead of abusing substances or whatever our choice of unsafe coping may be.

I believe we can break patterns, cycles and change with love, empowerment and compassion always being included. When not attentive to others you'll find me exercising, studying nutrition, experimenting with natural remedies and making natural products.

Islam. That was a very nice introduction. Thank you for sharing your passions. The support you provide others is paramount to recovery from trauma. I would like to know your remedy for P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome).

Reprogramming our thought processes is a constant struggle. Isis Paper offers some great solutions to this problem. I try to implement her methods daily. Looking forward to hearing your perspectives fam

Empowerment is and should be the main focus, in my view. Warrior Queen you have my support 100%. This is exactly the kind of thing this group needs.

A rather intriguing bridging property here. I still haven't figured out how to go from "numbers" to "Human Services". “Bookkeeping, accounting” to “ health navigation, domestic violence advocacy, Drift F1”… Excellent. It's not that simple.
