Everyone should understand the importance and impact of shopping with business that support your community. Yet and still there are millions of melanated individuals who almost refuse to shop with or support organizations that have their communities best interest at heart. Why is that. Will $2.50 really hurt you that much if you have it? Can you actually say that the other store has a better quality of product or service? At the end of the day, will the search for a black owned business really coast you much (besides a little time to find them) more if you already going to spend the funds anyway? I would like to know why don't you support businesses owned by your extended family that have your communities best interest at heart.
