If you plan on coming out to the Hood 2 Hood this summer, there are only 7 weeks remaining before the program comes to an end for the season! For week 12 we are bringing the love to our Southwest/Downriver family in the 48217!
# Hood2Hood is one of New Era Detroit's most effective programs for community engagement!
We believe real change for Black People will start inside of the hoods but we must first recognize the issues we face as a race and look for solutions within ou rselves. Change will not be easy; it is going to take a lot of stepping up and accountability across the board BUT IT WILL COME! You don't have to be religious, you don't have to be politically correct, you don't have to change who you are as an individual, but what you will have to do is change the way you think. We must change the way we view ourselves. We must change the way we treat each other. We must Change our thoughts on community and most importantly we MUST change the way we spend our money!!!
As always if there are any organizations (block clubs, car clubs, biker clubs) that would like to collaborate in this area, please call/text us at 313.466.4377 so that we can find out more information! Remember, it’s going to take more than 1 man or 1 organization to make the difference that we need! It is going to take ALL OF US! We are an Organization with our arms wide open!
