"We cannot advance or appropriately defend our interests and lives as an African people if we place the fate of our community in the hands of the educational establishments of our oppressors and enemies, and in the hands of those Africans educated in them.

Upon close inspection , we find that, the systems educational system has been designed to undermine the self-confidence of  most Black children, to narrow their visions of their possibilities and power and to ultimately restrict their goals, hopes as well as aspirations to the narrow confines of racial accommodation and assimilation.

This education conditions our children to covet being the paternalistic recipients of White sympathy rather than expanding their aspirations to include the overcoming of White power and achieving full, unfettered self-liberation.

The unending maintenance of this self-defeating state of mind in Blacks is the fundamental objective of the systems educational system and the keystone upon which the infrastructure facade of White power rests.

Therefore to break this viscous cycle, African peoples and African leaders should be the recipients of an African-centered education.

NO AFRICAN SHOULD BE GRANTED LEADERSHIP IN THE AFRICAN COMMUNITY who has not been certified through EDUCATION or EXPERIENCE as African-centered in CONSCIOUSNESS, IDENTITY and ORIENTATION."
