Daughter: I’m sorry, Mommy. I’m sort of okay. I’m taking the day off / there is an anti-racism walkout organized by Berklee students and I’m participating.
Me: What has happened there aside from the police union president arrested on sexual rape of children.
Daughter: It’s about Berklee specifically and lack of action done by the school to address both micro aggressions and overt racist acts by the community while constantly telling people to use the reporting system that doesn’t work instead of blabbing on social media
Me: Exactly, I’m elated to see you standing up!!!????
