I want to thank my CREATOR of this Universe and beyond for keeping the angels encamped around and above my maternal homestead down in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. My mommy was born in this house in 1938 and my cousin said the tornado skipped over it and wiped out the block behind the backyard. I feel for those who have lost there homes and at the same time I am grateful for this little wooden house to still be standing.
For my mommy told me it has weathered many storms and floods. Here we are 25 years after her transition as well as everyone else who lived in that house from her generation has passed on, it's still here standing like a beacon.
