This is how it starts and look around you and see how many black folks hate themselves. Look at how many have abandoned the love and affection of another black person for another race and then listen to the unreasonable reasoning they use as a reason for it. They won't admit the truth and in some rare cases they don't even know why they crave anything but their own. They only know what the boob tube has programmed them to think and feel.
What we have when we see us on tv is being locked up in Prison, being portrayed as gangsters, thugs, hoes, strippers, killers, rappers, ruthless ass drug dealers, gay, just all fucked up and well we are because when we see us on tv and you think about it, it's not a good look. When we had a positive black image it was the Cosby Show, A Different World, but then we have some buffoonery come in and change that line of thinking.
And today we have the worse crap ever with black reality... smfh. So if a dark skin child only see the light skin child, what does that do for their self-esteem, if the light-skin child sees themselves what do they grow up thinking? If they see white kids living large, what are they to think? If they see two parents in the home, what are they going to think? Monitor what they watch and then talk to them afterwards about it.
Start early removing whatever negative thoughts being put into their young minds... that's the job of a parent.
